1- Are there any breaks?

• Several breaks are given throughout the class, however if you need to make or take a call during classroom time, feel free to step out and take the call, that’s no issue.

2- Can I bring food or drinks?

• Coffee and water will be provided, but feel free to bring what you’d like.

3- Is it a formal environment?

• Our classes are pretty laid back, a casual environment, however once we are on the range, all range rules will be abided by. Safety is our number one priority, we want everyone leaving the same way they came, just a little more knowledgeable on the subject.

  You will be in great hands with our Certified Firearms instructors.

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The majority of this course will be classroom instruction which will include a set of four different modules followed by a twenty five question multiple-choice test.

Subjects Covered:

• Laws That Relate To Weapons and The Use of Deadly Force.

• Handgun Use & Safety Including The Use of Restraint Holsters

• Non-Violent Dispute Resolution

• Proper Storage Practices For Handguns

Range Qualification:

Upon completion of the classroom portion, we will move along to our on-site range where students will need to score 175 points out of a possible 250 (70%) to successfully pass the state mandated Texas License To Carry Course.

The state mandated B27 silhouette targets will be utilized on the range.

What you will need to bring with you:

• Pen / Paper

• PPE (Ear, Eye Protection) (Cap or hat suggested)

• Pistol (unless renting, if renting be sure to notify us after you register)

• 50 Rounds of ammunition (If ammo is needed, contact us after registration)

• Driver’s License or ID

• A Postitive Attitude

• No Sandals, Heels, or Open-Toed Shoes allowed on the range.
